(St. Raphael the Archangel): "My beloved brothers, I, Raphael the Archangel, servant of the Lord and the Mother of God, rejoice that I can come today once again to bless you and give you My Message. In this month of October imitate the servant of God, the servant of the Mother of God, Geraldo Majella, whom you Here in this Shrine know very well and from whom you have received the grace to have His Message Here every week.
Imitate His Virtues, so that you may be pleasing to God as He was. Truly, in Muro Lucano the holiest and most ardent young man in the love of God and the Mother of God did not exist, the young man with the purest heart, with the purest soul and the most chaste body did not exist, the young man of pure manners, of pure desires and intentions before God did not exist. He was truly the purest lily of Muro Lucano, and with his existence he caused God and the Mother of God to look upon him with love and pour upon him copious graces and blessings from their Hearts.
Truly, the soul of Gerard Majella was a precious and brilliant stone, a pure diamond of the highest value before God and His Immaculate Mother, and His virtues every day became greater, more solid and stronger, radiating to all who knew him the light of grace, of purity, of holiness, of true love for God. How well he prayed, how well he prayed with his heart, how truly ablaze with love, how truly he had put the Lord and His Blessed Mother first in his soul. He had such a burning love for the Mother of God that no other young man from Muro Lucano had it like he had, he loved Her so much that he practically made a pact, a covenant with Her promising to be all of Her and to never, ever love anyone else, to no one else, to no one else give himself, to no one else give his heart.
That is why He is truly a model for all those who want to follow God, serve God and give themselves to God entirely in the consecrated and religious life, He is also a perfect model for all the young teenagers and children who want to be saints, who want to be pleasing in the eyes of God and of His Blessed Mother, to console them, to give them joy, to give love for so many hard hearts that do not love them and that are not sorry to do sin to pierce the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
Imitate Him, imitate Him with all your love, your faith, your fidelity, your obedience, strive to be Holy as He was. Remember very well what Our beloved Marcos taught you yesterday: no sacrifice, no glory. Without sacrifice, without sacrificing your own will, your own desires, your own inclinations, you will never achieve spiritual perfection, holiness, and you will never reach the glory of Heaven. Therefore, imitate St. Gerard in His immense effort to mortify His will, His flesh, to mortify His desires, and thus by denying Himself He quickly climbed the steps of the ladder of holiness, the ladder of perfection. Imitate Him, and you too will quickly climb this ladder that will lead you to Heaven, by being complacent* you will never follow holiness, nor Heaven, nor even purgatory. Therefore, fight, make an effort, because in truth I tell you: Those who do not make an effort, those who do not emulate themselves** in the search for perfection, renouncing their defects, desires and personal inclinations, to these the doors of Heaven will truly be closed.
Pray, pray, pray. I love you very much, and I am at your side to help you, and just as I helped my beloved St. Gerard Majella very much, I will also help you to reach Heaven.
May the motto of Gerard Majella: 'I want what God wants and I don't want what God doesn't want', be your compass that leads you each day more on the path of salvation.
To all of you at this moment I bless with love and finally I ask: Continue to pray the Holy Rosary Meditated, continue to pray all the Prayers that the Mother of God Here has given you, so that truly your hearts may be like Geraldo Majella's and like the continuation of His life here in this world."
