Message of the Most Loving Heart of Saint Joseph

Marcos, most beloved son, I bless you today with all who have sincerely come to pray with you.

It is necessary to make "war" to one's own attachments. to one's inner passions. and to one's own defects every day.

The greatest work that man can do to glorify and please God is to make war against himself every day.

The man who does not make war on his defects, on his attachments, even if it is his ideas, judgments and thoughts, will end up becoming a victim of himself.

True holiness is not being popular and not even earning the esteem of men.

True holiness is fighting against yourself and your defects in order to detach yourself from everything, to die for yourself and for the world in order to live solely for the Lord.

More advantage is taken by the man who makes war against his defects one day than by the man who spends all his life entertaining himself with creatures, even with the best intentions.

The man who amuses himself too much with creatures takes little care of his soul. The man who talks a lot and entertains himself with the world is certainly careless of his soul and therefore does not see the poisonous trees that are in it.

The spiritual man focuses on fighting his defects, his attachments and his selfishness so that then, truly free, he will be worthy to be united with God, with Mary Immaculate and with me. And only then, after having possessed that crown of freedom, does he go to bring other souls along the same path of detachment and mortification so that they too may reach the crown of freedom.

My Most Loving Heart wishes to elevate souls to a great union with God. But it will only bring souls truly committed to war against their own will, against their selfishness, their self-centeredness and their inner vanity.

May you continue to pray all the prayers we have given you here asking for the grace not to be pushy [1] but to fight the good fight, that is, the fight against your will, your attachment and your self-love of self.

I bless you Marcos with all My children who yearn for Me and seek Me every day".
