Message from Our Lady Queen of Peace to Edson Glauber in Santa Isabel, PA, Brazil

Peace be with you!

Dear children, (*)have faith and pray, pray, pray so that you can receive the desired graces, but above all, be converted. Leave the life of sin and return to God. I bless you all: in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit Amen. See you soon!

(*) Believing in God, the One and Only, and loving Him with one's whole being, has immense consequences for our whole life. It means knowing the greatness and majesty of God: "God is too great for us to know him." (Job 36:26). That is why God must be the "first to be served."

It means living in thanksgiving: If God is the One, all that we are and all that we possess comes from him: "What do you possess that you have not received?" ( 1 Cor 4:7). "How shall I repay the Lord for all the good he has done to me?" (Ps 116:12).

It means knowing the unity and true dignity of all men: They are all made "in the image and likeness of God."(Gen1:27)

It means rightly using created things: Faith in the one God leads us to use everything that is not him insofar as this brings us closer to him, and to detach ourselves from things insofar as they lead us away from him.

My Lord and my God, take away from me everything that leads me away from you.

My Lord and my God, give me everything that brings me closer to you.

My Lord and my God, detach me from myself to give myself for

entirely to you.

It means to trust God in any circumstance, even in adversity. A prayer of St. Teresa of Jesus expresses it admirably:

Nothing disturb you. Nothing frightens you. Everything passes away. God does not change. Patience achieves everything. He who has God lacks nothing. God alone is enough.

(Catechism of the Catholic Church -The Scope of Faith in the One God, p.69-70, n.222 to 227)
