"Every soul needs to have a reservoir of grace deep within his heart which he can call upon in times of stress, indecision or temptation. This reservoir is Holy Love. If it is not within the heart, the soul cannot decide for the Truth, but every decision is compromised."

"The heart must be like a safe-deposit box - secure and accessible at the soul's choosing. The enemy tries to drain this reservoir of grace through doubts, lack of trust and impulsive behavior which opposes Holy Love. He uses rash judgments, detraction and weaknesses in every virtue to deplete the reservoir of Holy Love."

"The soul must always keep in mind his own salvation and draw upon this reservoir of grace as a means of attaining it. The reservoir will be as deep as is the virtue of Holy Love in the heart. It will deepen by prayer and sacrifice. The deepest reservoir makes the soul aware of the Divine Will."
